This is a mash-fermented white wine, made from the Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Chardonnay varieties. Wild yeasts cause spontaneous fermentation, with the Pulsar Blanc subsequently aged for eight months in clay amphorae, then transferred for a short time to tonneau barrels. Unfiltered and entirely without added sulphates, this blend is bottled from 24 to 36 months following the harvest.
Slightly cloudy and with accentuated colours, the bouquet of Pulsar is reminiscent of mint, orange peel, honey and citrus fruits. It leaves salty, mineral notes on the palate, while the tannins in its structure are truly a treat for the taste buds. A wonderfully versatile soloist!
